Autism Spectrum Disorder

Asperger Syndrome (AS), or Asperger, was the name of a neurodevelopmental disorder that later merged with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Many people with an AS diagnosis choose to continue using the term, while others prefer to be identified as autistic or on the autism spectrum.
